Fostex E-16 Reels NAB or HUB

I have just bought a 2nd hand Fostex E-16 1/2" Multitracker. I'm trying to get a few reels for the machine and the guy at the place is asking if its NAB or HUB connection. I'm just new with this, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

NAB is a specific size and standard of the hub that holds the reel of tape in place.

The hub is a non descript, generic word that refers to the center wheel that holds the reel in place and it is a misuse of terminology by your "guy at the place", to refer to it as a specific size.

Oh, and the reels of tape you want for your machine are 10.5 inch, NAB reels on half inch tape.

Quantegy 456 as an example.
