Can I do a Bounce down???

Is it possible to bounce down internally with say the Tascam 34b or the 38-8 or even the TSR-8? Can a person do a 1 machine internal bounce to free up room to add more shit? Tanks

You can't do it completely internally as you need to be able to set the levels, panning and indeed whether it's a mono or stereo bounce. The 2-track Revox machines can do this, but probably not their 4/8 track machines.

What you need to do is run it through a mixing console and back into the same machine. That will work fine - I've done it myself a couple of times.
