Bulk Head Eraser. . .?

I'm looking to pick-up a used bulk head eraser, . to erase some cassette, VHS, and possibly some 7" reel tapes, . .and I'm wondering are all Tape Eraser's created equal. . . or are their good ones, and crappy one?

I see a lot of Realistic and radio Shack brands out there, . and I'm wondering if that will do the job, . . or is there another type or brand that I should be looking for. . .

Also, what is the best way of using a Tape eraser, . . since I never have used one before. Thanks in advance guys. . .

The regular Realistic eraser works decent on 7 inch reels, one minute on and 30 minutes off.
I have one # 44-233A since 7 years and never had any problem.
Be sure to move all other tapes before turning it on.
Lay the tape flat down and move back and fourth couple of times, that's it.
