My Super-Hero costume is at the cleaners so, it might be best if Buddy over at tape-op gets pissed and sells his machine for a song to me!!

But, perhaps if someone has a link to the thread, I could swing over there in the Ghost-Mobile and see what all the crying is about.

It looks like Buddy can't thread the tape and thinks the transport is dead.

I don't think it's worth the effort of becoming a member there to help this dude out. Besides, there is someone there trying to talk him through the procedure.

It kinda reminds me of the Tascam 38 and also the 22-4 that didn't seem to work,...

but turns out that the seller had the EDIT button pressed!

I never thought tape machines were that difficult or mysterious, but some people just don't have a clue!
