    Any 2" 16 track tape machine owners out there??

    A customer of mine has a 2" tape that he recorded in 1975. This fellow is 92 years old and still playing gigs every weekend (and loving it). He recorded tons of music from the '50's through the '80's as a professional studio guitar guy. Anyway, he is interested in having this tape converted to digital so that he can do some more work on it. If there is anyone out there who would be able to do this little project (preferably in S. Florida) I would greatly appreciate it.

    this is NOT a job for a part time diy'er... that tape will need to be baked and will play one time... after that things will go down hill quick...
    37.8% of all statistics are made up on the spot...

    hey give a guy some room... people are trying to evolve here... for crying out loud...

    there are plenty of ads for this in tape op. The number of studios in south florida with 2" decks is declining but they are still there, I think its time to hit up google.

    2" 16 track is the fattest sound I've ever heard for recording music!!!
