    if you were to buy a tascam/ teac recorder off of ebay, which would you go for..........the 80-8 or the 38-8?

    I'd go for a TSR-8 in that price range.

    well crap.....i don't know what to do now.......i don't know anything about analog....all i know is i want at least 8 tracks and i'm not wanting to put a lot of money into it..........all these machines are in my price range though...... what do you think is better about the 38-8 a reel person?

    The price is probably gonna go up a lot though. I mean that guy even took a photo of the head, so people know what they are getting.

    But for 8-tracks, you can probably go for almost any of them. They are all decent machines, it's more about headwear and general condition for old stuff like that.

    actually i was already watching that......i sure hope it doesn't go up too much.

    but i'm pretty sure that's going to go up a lot.....which sucks cause it'd be damn cool to have.....actually either of those would be.
