I have completely rebuilt the circuit in this reel to reel...every electrolytic capacitor and power resistor, and every resistor, transistor, and electrolytic in the pre-amp. All the tubes are new. The heads seem to be aligned properly and have been cleaned. I am getting no bass out of the right channel... it sounds like a high pass filter. When I switch the speakers the same thing happens so it's not the speaker.
The troubleshooting guide in the service manual says to check three capacitors, all of which I have replaced. Ive been thru the circuit looking for a wrong part, wrong connection or any other anomalies; everything seems to be correct. Any ideas? I'm really stuck here.
