Since I do not have a Manual for my 388 yet could someone tell me about the Dbx defeat switch on the back . Im confused, Is it suppose to be in the on position for normal use or off for normal use. To me it reads to put it in the on position to defeat the dbx
but i maybe thinking backwards here.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello Herm

The DBX Defeat Switch is to turn the DBX off for Track 8 so that you can record FSK and SMPTE/EBU time codes on it. Obviously you turn it on to turn the DBX off.

This might seem trite but, a new avatar of you would be nice to look at.

Sometimes it's hard to take seriously a guy, wearing a bucket on his head. No offense intended, of coarse!

    Cheers!

It's not a bucket, it's a Cyberman helmet. You're Canadian, you had Doctor Who; right?

And if I'm going to change my picture then I demand you lose the fat bloke from the 70s.

Unfortunately, Yes! We did have Doctor Who here on the local Public Television channel.

I rarely watched it. It seemed like a real low budget production and made me ill to watch it at the worst of times and sleepy at the best of times.

Your New Avatar is one million times better!

    I like it!

That dude was from the 60's actually.

    It's me.

Taken a few months ago with my web-cam.

I thought I looked rather fetching in it!

    Cheers!
