BigWerks is having a $5 sale for VSTs, presets, samples, and Kontakt libraries that it will be removing from the website at the end of the first week of January, 2020. The Kontakt libraries include: 3n1, toxic, big sauce, prostage crystal pianos, prostage guitars, pure analog guitars, dezyna duffelz (loop kit), purpose, angel cano bundle (guitars, bass, leads & percussion), floating clouds, vortex, the evolution, deck head, and all 3rd party libraries (LithiumA,LithiumB, etc.). Fluoresce is free and the other Kontakt libraries are reduced 45%.
Bigwerks.com - #1 Site For Producers & Beat Makers

Likewise, Modern Producers has a bunch of freebies its giving away during its sale until 1/4/20, including three free Kontact libraries from Global Audio Tools (Trap Gods, Galaxy, and Grand Hall Piano).

P.S.: Since I have all the BigWerks libraries mentioned above, I can say that these ROMplers are a bargain but there are some exceptional bargains in the bunch:
The Angel Cano Bundle contains two electric guitar (Strat) libraries, A traveler Bass library, a Vox library, and a percussion instrument library.
The Floating Clouds library is a dual layer library.
The 3in1 bundle is three simple, common-interfaced libraries with a total of 700+ presets

There's still some time left to take advantage of the AudioPlugin.Deals Shop Base-price Valentine's Sale. A great time to pick up Morphestra2 or a number of instruments/libraries/bundles/plugins at bargain prices that will serve you well. Everything in The Shop is at base price (no points needed).
All products - Audio Plugin Deals

I've been woking my way through the Max Complete Bundle (10 libraries, 176GB, 6000+ presets, $99) from Muze. Aquamarine is the big hybrid synth in the bundle and has some interesting features. There's a lot of versatility in this bundle.
Muze Max Complete

Speaking of a similarly large bundle---whatever happened to Sonex Audio (Pro Suite, 200+GB, $100)? They just disappeared from the web.

Kontakt Hub is having its Spring Sale:

BigWerks is having a liquidation sale---any Kontakt library for $10-$15. I think think they are closing at the end of April.

Until March 31, Native Instruments is offering Analog Dreams, one of its Kontakt6 Player (free) libraries, for free (this also comes with Kontak6 or Komplete12):
Play Series : Analog Dreams | Komplete

The Serenity Group Buy (I joined, $25) at Homegrown Sounds has garnered its fourth instrument at Level 4. These are Kontakt 6.2+ instruments, taking advantage of the Replika effects and Drag-And-Drop sample features.
Serenity Group Buy | Homegrown Sounds

Rigid Audio is having a daily offering during a One Week Sale. Ridiculously low on-sale prices, as always, for some really nice Kontakt instruments.

Audiofier has released Riffendium 4 and 5, with intro pricing and an additional (via email) loyalty discount. All of their other great instruments are on 50% sale at Kontakt Hub.
http://www.audiofier.com/

Muze has free versions of its Aquamarine (450 patches), Bass Elements, Bass Guitar, Effects, Drums (drum machine), Hybrid Strings, and Organ B3---everything but Mello, Pianos, and E-Pianos. I test all my Kontakt libraries on my older legacy system and some of the Muze libraries will memory-out on a Win10 32-bit 4GB system (generally the ones with the voice-selection system reminiscent of 8DIO's voice stacking GUIs); No real issues on Win10 64-bit 8GB and above. A lot of instruments for a bargain price ($99) in the Muze Max Complete bundle. I especially like the Mello library. It seems to imbue a lot of instruments that weren't included in the original Mellotron with a nice Mellotron character. If you're looking for a free bass guitar library for Kontakt, Muze's free Bass Guitar library might serve you well.
https://www.muze.shop/en/index.php?route=product/category&path=72

BTW: For whatever reason, my Edge browser (before the recent update) had a ridicoulously slow download speed with the Muze site. After contacting Muse support, I switched to the Chrome browser and got a normal download.

At 8DIO, there are now 9 free libraries available "On The House."

A no-brainer for the next 48 hours: The Origins Vol. 1-5 Bundle for 9.90€ (<$11). Even if you already own four out of five of these, it's still a bargain at this price---and it's for a good cause:
Origins Bundle Vol.1-5 - Sonuscore

Andy at Homegrown Sounds has endured a physical setback and our prayers and best wishes go out to him for a speedy recovery. The Serenity Group Buy (I joined, $25) has garnered its fourth instrument at Level 4. These are Kontakt 6.2+ instruments, taking advantage of the Replika effects and Drag-And-Drop sample features. If you've considered any of the other great offerings at Homegrown Sounds, now would be an especially supportive time to buy,
Homegrown Sounds

Replika Sound has an interesting offer for $5: Audition And Chamaeleon, two 4-layer Kontakt5 instuments with a simplified method for using your own samples in sets of 12, 24, 36, 48 or 60 samples, without having to open up the Kontakt back end (spanner).

The April KLANG Kontakt library, Geiger Counter, is now available from Cinematique Instruments:
CINEMATIQUE INSTRUMENTS - FREE KLANG

Kontakt Hub is still having its Spring Sale and is offering Chalumeau by ImagikSound as a freebie:
Kontakt Instruments | Kontakt Libraries | Kontakt Hub
https://www.kontakthub.com/current-deals

I did violate my "No more unless they're at least 50% off" rule and picked up Atom Hub's The Grand Mechaniano (reduced 40% at Kontakt Hub). To say it's a version of their previously-free but still-inexpensive (~$5) Mechaniano on steroids would be an understatement---and steroids are far too tame a pharmaceutical for the comparison. While areas of the GUI border on illegibility, Atom Hub does always seem to always display needed info in the Kontakt help line. You can easily spend hours auditioning patches and enjoying tweaking the three layers, producing surprising sounds and strange beauties. Plus, you get to audition patches with names like "How Pencils Feel," "Uncover The Sewers," and "8mm Boiled Egg 1937"---among others. I may never forget one of the most addictively dissonant piano patches I ever came across. This is a You're-Not-Prepared piano.

The Serenity Group Buy (I joined, $25) has now reacheded Level 5. This is a group buy for Kontakt 6.2+ instruments, taking advantage of the Replika effects and Drag-And-Drop sample features. Replika Sound has another interesting offer for $5: Audition And Voltus Bass, two 4-layer Kontakt5 instuments with a simplified method for using your own samples in sets of 12, 24, 36, 48 or 60 samples, without having to open up the Kontakt back end (spanner). Note, this is the drag-and-drop of a set number of samples into a folder, etc.---not DND onto the GUI.

Another free KLANG Kontakt library, Reverberated Strings, is now available from Cinematique Instruments:

P.S.: I should have mentioned that the Kontakt full-retail version of Sample Logic's CinemorphX is on sale for $90 for the next three days and I was assured by a reply from Sample Logic that it is identical to the free Kontakt Player version (with, of course, the fact that it needs the full version of Kontakt [v5.8.1 or higher] to run). If you don't have a Sample Logic 4-core instrument, you owe at least one to yourself. I do find the major criticism of Sample Logic stuff amusing: "The sounds take over the track!" Yeah . . . cut and polished diamonds are too . . . whatever!

I have been setting up a new computer with fresh installations/authorizations I will share my thoughts and experiences about upgrading/transferring/re-installing plugins and libraries when I'm finished. I actually purchased the new system because of my hate-love relationship with Native Access. This is the third time I've had to upgrade to a system that could handle the "requirements" of Native Access. NI seems to have an issue with actually delivering/authorizing licensed libraries (Kontakt Player libraries, etc) on aging systems in a way that nobody else seems to have (and I'm not talking 32-bit v. 64-bit). Complaining about this over the years has led me to fantasize that the Native Access development team either benefits from nepotism or granting "favors"---hopefully not a combination of the two. Third-party licensing developers should take note that Native Access may have more demanding system requirements than their libraries (or Kontakt itself) and it may not be able to deliver/authorize their product on aging systems, capable of running virtually everybody else's software. Take note, developers, because you hold some of the purse strings. In all fairness, Native Access does work better that Service Center, its predecessor---but there's always that inevitable automatic (and undefeatable and irreversable) Update Of Doom lurking on the temporal horizon. Fortunately, the fatal update doesn't affect what is already installed/authorized. More on some pros and cons at a later date.

I feel better now.

Native Instruments is having its Summer Sale, usually 50%-off for products (and note the paragraph near the end about Ruben and Samplecast). I have yet to fully explore Komplete 10, let alone my crossgrades/upgrades along the way to Komplete 12 Ultimate CE. Amazing stuff and lots of it. While exploring an NI library/instrument/plugin I often find myself askin: "Why did I buy anything else?" Was it because of the whole developer-software-hardware environmet that grew up around NI---much to everyone's credit? Whatever---I know G.A.S. had a lot to do with it.

Splash Sound is having a 60-90%-off sale (and a couple freebies) this week:
SPLASH SOUND | KONTAKT LIBRARIES

Cinesamples sale continues (ends June 30) at half-price if you buy three:
Cinesamples | Sample libraries by composers, for composers

Sonokinetic has Solstice Sale: 50%-off all single instruments (except Ibrido, which is 37.5%-off). I get lost in time when I open up an orchestral library from Sonokinetic.
Sonokinetic - Sample libraries and Virtual Instruments

Heavyocity's 50% Summer Sale continues. The Heavyocity product I would avoid is: None. Great long-term stuff, more than worth the investment, especially on sale.
VST Virtual Instruments & Effects | Sound Composer Software | Heavyocity

Kontakt Hub is having its Summer Sale with discounts of 20-70%, generally by developer. If you haven't shopped at Kontakt Hub before, note that a bundle price can sometimes be more than the sum of the individual products during a sale. Puzzling, but it sometimes happens.

I did want to mention two Kontakt libraries/instruments that have been sticking in my memory as exceptional: Channel Robot's KeyTone (which I got on sale for $20 a while ago at AudioPlugin.Deals) and 8DIO's Blendstruments (5 variations, which I got bundled last year for $148; now on sale for $48 each).
KeyTone has a randomization feature that almost always yields a new good-sounding instrument. It's also easy to layer your own pairing of sounds. It's a quality piece.
Everytime I open up one of the Blendstruments, I know I'm going to be surprised and impressed---and taxed to save a lot of snapshots. It's hard to describe how quickly new sounds can be generated with these instruments---and how many different ways and approaches you can take to do it. There are a number of Blendstrument videos on the 8DIO website. A note of caution: I test-run a lot of my libraries on my old legacy (upgraded to Win10) 32-bit system and, even though the stated system requirements say 32- and 64-bit, the 4GB limit of 32-bit Win systems is not enough to reliably load and/or run Blendstruments. No problems on an older 64-bit 8GB system.

Kontakt updated to 6.3.

Sonokinetic has its Solstice Sale: 50%-off all single instruments (except Ibrido, which is 37.5%-off). Something to note is that your Sonokinetic Loyalty Points (1pt = 1€) can be applied up to half the value of the sale price, so you can end up with a 75% discount. Good deal!

In my last post I mentioned two Kontakt libraries/instruments that have been sticking in my memory as exceptional: Channel Robot's KeyTone (which I got on sale for $20 a while ago at AudioPlugin.Deals) was one of them. KeyTone has a randomization feature that almost always yields a new good-sounding instrument. It's also easy to layer your own pairing of sounds, and it has an exception arpeggiator and sequencer. It's a quality piece, and now you can get it---and every other Channel Robot Kontakt library (and bundle!)---for a name-your-own-price minimum as low as $5. Also, if you've been looking for a bass synth, Folio Bass is nice. This is like an old-school Channel Robot sale. Check out the products.

Gothic Instruments libraries are on sale. Rigid Audio is having a series of items on sale---September 30 is the last day. Ridiculous bang for the buck at their very low sale prices. I mentioned Ferrum-Free Edition for the free Kontakt 6 Player in a separate posting. It's an impressive freebie with informative videos on the website. I hope you all made out well during the recent sales. With new releases from Sample Logic (Empereal Atmosphere Designer), Soundiron (Quadral), Heavyocity's (Symphonic Destruction), Zero-G (Elements), Audiofier (three more upcoming Veevum libraries), and Karanyi (Analog Tales/Nightmare pre-sale) you still might be interested in some nice libraries for about $10 or less:

Loot Audio has Divergent Audio Group's Helios on (75% off) sale for $6.87 until 10/16. This full Kontakt library can quickly generate a host of new, complex patches from any snapshot and is a real bargain at this sale price. Some of the tails on the samples will grab your attention.

Cannel Robot's FourTune, Motion, KeyTone, Orchestral Dust, Folio Bass, Grid Machine Collection, and the Drum Factory Collection are on (~90% off, $3.80 - $9.29) sale at Loot Audio. Every one of these is a bargain and KeyTone especially so if you're looking for good-sounding key/synth patches, either out-of-the-box or generated on the fly:

Until 10/18 at VSTbuzz: Imperfect VST synth plus all (11) expansions for $10.21. This nicely-featured inexpensive synth makes it very easy to alter any patch into new and surprising variations---and you get a fair number of patches. VST Buzz also has Sick Noise Instruments' Trypticon for $10.21 and Audiofier's EkoRain for $21.55.

Another great place to check out bargains about as quick as they come out is VI-Control (members get an even better look than guests). They seem to have the vendor/member postings under more organized control:

What with Sample Library Review and postings at GearSpace and VI-Control, I don't have too much to add but I did come across a few things flying under the radar that I obtained/purchased that deserve mentioning:

99 Sounds released Halloween Sound Effects for free, nice for the Kontakt DND library owners but you might want to check out all the other free packages available on their releases page. Project Exodus is a little Kontakt gem, and others that have Kontakt patches are: MGF Audio, Bass City, Kick Drum, Mangling Audio, Project Pegasus, Samples Of Tenalach, The Warehouse, Vinyl Noise SFX, White Noise SFX, 99 Sound Effects, Cinematic Loops, Cinematic Sound Effects, Garage Foley, Magnetic Fields, Percussa Toolbox, Simply Space.

Nikodemos T. has a few Kontakt freebies (BA533 SID-The Punk Bass & Sounds From The Other Side (Demontron)) and the rest of its offerings are now at half-price. Give the bass libraries a listen.

The Homegrown Complete 2010 Bundle, another nice sample and Kontakt patch bundle (19 sample libraries, 9 with Kontakt patches) is in sale for $25 . . .
. . . and individual Kontakt instruments, group buys (!) and bundles are on sale for 50% off:
There are also some freebie presets and Kontakt instruments, along with presets for sale, on the website.

Speaking of Kontakt gems, by now you probably know about Native Instument's "Twenty Five," a free Kontakt Player library that's about as good as you'll get for free and legal. If you don't already have an NI account, registering for one will make you eligible for Twenty Five. I don't necessarily want to be the one to hook you on Kontakt libraries but this one is a good hit.
And while you're at it, if you're a Native Instrument and Kontakt newbie, don't forget about another freebie . . .
. . . and these:

Sonic Zest has their complete (over 30) instrument bundle ($500) on sale for $200.

I did make purchases at In Session Audio that qualified me for their 4 For 3 Sale, and I'm glad I did---greater than 50% discounts on some really clever and great-sounding libraries. For me it was both Riff Generators, World Percussion Creator, and Fluid Strike---big, clear, beautiful sounds right out of the box. The sale ends at the end of October.

I mentioned this in the previous posting: Loot audio has a lot of Channel Robot instruments on sale for 91% off until 12/25/21, including the Drum Factory Collection, Folio Bass, FourTune, Grid Machine Collection, Grid Machine Drums, Motion, KeyTone and Orchestral Dust. It's hard to say what's the best bargain and the most special here but KeyTone can very quickly produce a wide variety of great-sounding melodic keys.

Just wanted to point out a few Kontakt deals that might be flying under the radar at the moment:

A Kontakt bundle that may outlive you. The developer (Andrew) claims that it contains 110 instruments but the included legacy instruments/versions would add dozens and dozens more to the count. I should add that this deal expires 2/6 and that it looks like it does not include products from the recent (Serenity) group buy and recently developed instruments. What I can say for sure is that you will probably be floored with the amount and capabilities of these synths, especially if you like randomization, modulation and sequencing features.

This next deal comes with a degree of confusion. PluginBoutique claims that it requires the full retail version of Kontakt but Loot Audio has it listed as a Free Kontakt Player instrument---and the copy that I have is, indeed, a Kontakt Player instrument. I actually pointed this out to Plugin Boutique a few months ago but got no response. I tried to get clarification from UNDRGRND Sound but the website just bizarre. FWIW, Redlight (on sale for $10) is great-sounding Kontakt synth with a definite modern EDM/Dance character.

Plugin Boutique also has EmiSynth at the lowest price that I can recall ($15):

Sub51 has a 50% sale on all of their Kontakt instruments (£10/$13.56) except the newly released DropPad.
