Hi all,
Apologies if this belongs somewhere else - I've done some searching but I'm a bit lost on some of the jargon and not sure what is or isn't what I'm looking for.
I'm recording some guitar demos, and I want to add some virtual drums to my tracks. I have no idea how to program drums, all I'm looking for is something similar to GarageBand drums - playing along using my computer keyboard, all on one track. The drums are simply to add to the feel of the song demo and see if it's worth persisting with.
I'm using REAPER, and I've downloaded some VST plugins to use with the virtual built-in MIDI keyboard, but the latency is so bad that it's impossible to use along with a backing track.
I've downloaded the trial for EZdrummer, however I just get a server error when trying to activate it.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
