Altering harmonic series using pitch-sensitive comb filter?

I want to alter the harmonic series of a bass guitar and was wondering if there is a pitch-sensitive comb filter available that could do the job? (The filter would alter the harmonic series relative to the input pitch).

If not, can anyone suggest anything?

    Thanks,

Not really sure what you are going after with this but would suggest trying a ring modulator, preferably one that allows you to set the sum and difference values of the resulting signal.
