No problem, but I think I may have missed pointing out one that just went off sale that looks like it has some versatility and was right in your target range ($50)---Strezov Sampling's Distort.

I'm still not sure what your primary need is. You'll see that it's not only sounds but also different approaches and capabilities for guitar libraries. As for the sounds, don't be too surprised by sounds that sound more like keyboard guitar patches than guitar sounds (althought there is a free Kontakt library that just specializes in adding string sounds via multi to add realism). I could narrow my suggestions if I knew more of what you were after: certain song, album, soundtrack, etc., for example.

    In any event, have fun.

Hey---just came across this one for free. Downloaded it but haven't tried it yet but the demos are a hoot---they remind me of the themes from those 70s/80s Steven Canell TV series.

    How is this product free?

Shreddage II is still selling for $119.

This looks like a hell of a deal--thanks for bringing it to our attention Paj!

DD: I did get a Shreddage Bundle from AudioPluginDeals for $100 back in September 2017 which included Shreddage 2, Classic, RSP and IBZ, along with two "mystery" bundle products which were, I think, MegaBrass and Furia Staccato Strings (I already had them). The bundle is still up on the APD site but it links to incorrect info (GM FM Tines) and doesn't appear in a site search, so I'm guessing it's gone in any form. ISW does have some sharp sales and offerings from time to time, so you might want to subscribe to their newsletter. They do have some other freebies, including a nice niche Kontakt synth called Super Audio Boy and an very unusual violin.
Super Audio Boy - Retro Handheld Samples (Free Instrument)
The Stroh Violin by Impact Soundworks (VST, AU, AAX)

Speaking of guitar libraries/VSTs/etc., I just got this newsletter from NI:
    Native Instruments

I am enjoying playing around with Audifier's Riffendium. It's not on sale at the moment but Audiofier does have regular price reductions. Check it out in the mean time (YouTube videos).
