Hi everyone. I was just wondering if there's a way to change which part of a drum is hit in Addictive Drums 2 when you trigger it with a MIDI controller. I've noticed that when clicking in the software on different parts of a drum, you get a different kind of sound (like with the real thing) but when playing it in MIDI it always hits the center. Is there something I can do to make it aim at another part of the drum? Thanks.

I think Addictive Drums simulates low to high velocity if you click a drum from edge to centre.
Not 100% certain, I haven't used it in a while, but it's something to try.
It'll also do rimshots on the snare which sound totally different to a regular hit; That's a different midi note from the main snare hit.
It's usually somewhere in the same area...a few notes up or down.
If you have a midi keyboard that's velocity sensitive you can experiment by playing hard/soft and scanning through all the notes to learn what's what.
