Rackmount brackets for 1/2 rack units

Hi guys,

Does anyone have a resorce for rack ears or brackets for mounting 1/2 rack units?

I'm looking into getting a couple of DBX 163X's, and would like to keep them in my rack.

I think what you want is a simple rack shelf - they're between $10-20 at GC or Sweetwater or such.

Those things are my bread and butter. I only have one unit that's not half rack.

Also, I got that 163, and I'm liking it so far. Nice color to have.

I spoke with Tom @ DBX today and he refered me to a company that bought all of there kits for the 163X..........they didn't have any more.

Yeah, those rack shelves are very useful. Just get one of those and you are all set. If you don't want to drill your own hols you can get one of the "universal" pre-drilled kind. Or find some other way of attaching the unit to the shelf, like velcro or double sided tape or whatever.
