Power Supply

Has anyone here ever built a 24 volt power supply with phantom power?
Any links or diagrams/instructions on how to do it?

Michael,

I suggest you visit the Tech Talk forum over at RO and post the question. They are a great bunch of people and usually someone will have an answer.

Add

to an existing 24v supply.

Here's a kit: you could also build it on your own from the schematic
http://www.seventhcirclestudios.com/SCA/SCA.htm
goto PS01 power supply.

I've got some others I'll find and post later. My wife's trying to get my ass out the door to "go shopping" now. :)

Later:
Here's a phantom supply with discrete components. With this or the first one above, you'd need to tap into the secondary AC of the power transformer at 25-30vac.

If you want some reading on power supply design

or

Here's a schematic from the above site with both 24 and 48v supplies. You can run both from an external AC 24v wall wart, or you could as easily incorporate 115 primary/24v secondary transformer which are cheap and available.

Great links, all of them, Crazy-Doc!
I knew I had been to SeventhCircles before, I just didn't have the link.

Thanks for the help.
