I did not realize how truly sick I was until I added them up. (I should qualify that I do not use software, other than as a glorified multi track - all
effects/processing is done via hardware).
Too many to list - but overall - 73 pieces of rack mounted gear:
7 - Recording related (Dats, CD burners, etc.)
15 - Mic Pres
12 -
Effects (reverbs, delays, etc.)
23 - Processing (compressors, EQ, etc.)
16 - Sound Modules (keys, drums, etc.)
Much of this is older gear (but it is all still functional). I came up with analog (long before Pro Tools, etc.) and have accumulated too much hardware to now incur the costs to switch to software (plus the resale value simply is too little to try to sell much of it) - so I keep using hardware.
