Was practicing today and noticed the red overload light was lit on one channel of my power amp which runs my floor monitors. Almost no volume coming out of the one speaker. You could also hear some kind of relay switching on and off inside the amp and that side of the amp was friggin' hot! The good side was cool as a cucumber and clean and loud.
I just got this amp back from warranty repair and thought the tech had messed up or something.
Sent my friend mjhamil an email telling him it might be back to the shop.
He told me to check the speaker leads. Sure enough, the speaker plug was only half-way plugged in.
Plugged it in, fired it up, played some tunes just now and it works perfectly!
CHECK YOUR SPEAKER PLUGS = hope this helps someone in the future.....
