Hey guys, i just applied to this site and i am already getting help, much appreciated! I just got about a grand or so leftover from this years expenses (i am 16 so after working, these would be, hockey fees, soccer fees, new comp for school). I would like to upgrade what i currently have. When i say HONESTLY this means these are the only sound system parts i have (this is for beatboxing/basic vocal recording, some guitar)
Mics (since i beatbox, they are all dynamic because condenser mics cant take pressure too well):
Shure Beta58
Sennheiser E-840
Behringer XM8500 (surprisingly it is amazing for the price)
Mixers/Preamps/Channel Strips:
> Behringer Xenyx 1202FX 12 input (mic Pre)
> ART Pro Channel - Pro Audio Channel Strip/Mic Pre
> Rostech Stereo Graphic Equalizer (I have NO IDEA what to do with this so it just sits in a corner, it is ancient and was given to me for free, if i can use it or its worth it tell me how.
> Numark DM 1100X (this is also never in use as it is a shitty turntable mixer)
Soundcards
> ART Pro Audio - DJPre-2 Interface (RCA-USB)
> Tascam - US-122L USB Audio Interface
Speakers:
> I just have a basic Sony Speaker System using bare wire outputs and the only input is 1/8 inch (i know it is shitty as well)
Any suggestions/upgrades? People are telling me to get studio monitors.
