I have an opportunity to buy a dirt cheap A&H GL3 (5000 SEK=$500) as a front end to my computer recording setup but I can't find very much information about the preamps. An extensive search on the Internet tells me that the GL3 is still used as a monitor/FOH mixer. The GS3's preamps have a good reputation and my question is if anyone has used both of these mixers, or can compare one of them to a Mackie or Behringer mixer? Do the GL3 and GS3 have the same preamps?
