I jsut got a framus cobra head and i know it has MIDI capabilities. basically i know nothing about midi, i've never used it but i was thinking of starting a rack and was wondering what people use the MIDI stuff for. is it mostly for effects or what??? what is so good about it?
in terms of your guitar head, looks like it's mostly just for controlling fx parameters. lots of fx processors do this, as well as use midi for synching delays to bpm from a sequencer or something. midi is a little daunting at first, but if you think of it as a remote control that can control up to 16 devices (fx, synths) it will be easier.
