sorry about the crosspost but I dont seem do be getting any assistance from the cakewalk forum. heres my problem
I just got a roland DR-5 and its pretty neat for rhythms I can output the audio into sonar with no problems But there is some kind of wierd thing going on with the midi. Ive got a creative audigy card, sonar 2. windows xp
Ok heres what Ive got so far If I input the midi to Sonar from the
dr-5 the sound is all jumbled up and the instruments are totally wrong.
But if I select a soundfont OR a patch (AFTER) the dr-5 is already
playing the track it clears up perfectly,,, that is until I stop the dr5 output, in which case ,I have to change the soundfont or patch again to clear it up. I'm
still stumped here. Why doesnt the patch selection stay for that input? Its probably something simple Im missing or not configuring.
Surely someone else has had this problem
