How do I avoid switching midi cables form device to device?

Here it is............

I have a sampler (Rolands mc-909) w/midi(in-out)
capability to be a remote/slave/master.

Multitrack recorder (Tascam 788) w/midi(in-out)
capability to be a slave/master.

Easy(cheezy) Yamaha-30 keyboard w/midi(in-out)
capability to be a slave/master(I think)

Drum Machine (DR-770) w/midi(in-out)
capability to be a slave/master.

This may be kinda long, but I want to be as accurate as possible.

Currently I have my Drum Machine as a slave to the sampler(mc-909). In which the sampler is set as a (remote) to my 8-track recorder. The 8-track is the master. So when I hit play on the 8-track and eveything from the sampler and the drum machine play in sync with the 8-track. Great.

But my issue is I use my keyboard to trigger sounds form my sampler. The sampler only has a in/out midi connection. So anytime I wanna use it as a trigger to play sounds, I have to unplug the midi connection that is going to the 8-track and then plug the the keyboard midi cable in.Is there a device I can purchase that acts kinda like a midi patchbay/mixer. It really sucks to have to unplug one midi device to use with another. hopefully I explained myself. Get at me with advice or questions reguarding my bad situation. Thanx, pM
