I installed this cable on two of my computers and it went off without a hitch. Basically plugged in my synth and ... it worked right away.
I tried to do this on my sister's PC and I couldn't get it to work at all. She has a Packard Bell ... which I hear is a bit more problematic ... but did I miss a step somewhere? Is there special config needed for her sound card to get the MIDI interface to work through the joystick port?
I've got no idea. Sometimes I hate MIDI!
If you have any idea, please clue me in.
