Side address dynamic mics

More and more times when micing a drum kit I could use a good side address dynamic on the snare. Now days it seems everyone crowds their kit so close a mic like an sm57 with the cable plugged in is too tall to fit exactly where I want.

Would you guys consider giving me a list of decent side address dynamics?

Ive seen mention of the E609but have not heard others say much positive about it concerning snare.

Please speak out!

An M201 is a little shorter than an SM57, then just make yourself a special cable with a right angle Neutrik connector.

The 55SH has the 57 capsule in a side-address body, but it will bleed like hell.

I have a AT pro25 I might try... It is a kick / tom type mic but it mght work....

I have some side address condensors but they all bleed like heck.
The M201 is a Beyer isn't it?
The 55sh, That is the "Elvis" mic is'nt it?

I'll keep looking! There may be something from Audix that will work.
