What's your opinion on the best bang for buck, mic for acoustic guitar. I am searching for a mic in the $250-$300 range. DO NOT SAY STUDIO PROJECTS C-1! Why do I say that, well because I want to get one off of ebay, used. I looked for the C-1 and everybody is selling it for the full $229.

Saying that, I am really looking to spend $100-$140 on the Used mic. I was thinking of the Marshall V67, but I wanted to know if I should look for some think else.?

Do you think I should add the Marshall 603s, along with a large diaphram condensor during recording?

Opinions?

I just bought a 603 and tried it on my acoustic, and I must say it sounds better than my $1,000 tube mic on my acoustic guitar. I also tried the Behringer ECM 8000 ($35) in Harvey's recommended over-the-shoulder config and it sounded quite nice also. I eventually plan on using these mics in stereo config.

So, for a total investment of $115 I'm confident I will achieve an awesome stereo acoustic guitar sound--awesome for me, anyway.
