I just recently bought a new microphone, and when I plug it into my computer, it works just fine for skype and other such things, but when I try to record it gets a really high pitched whine in the background. This has never happened before, it is inexplicable. I made sure the noise wasn't coming from background sound in my house, I had an old poor quality mic that never did this, please help, I'm desperate
Never mind, I solved the problem, all I had to do was make sure the microphone wasn't playing through the speakers
