Mics/Pres sure take a while to warm up

It usually takes 30-45 minutes for my mic and pre to warm up fully. Of course by then my voice is also warmed up so that kinda works out ok. But I do wish they warmed up right away. Imagine if the old tv's had taken that long to warm up. Just my gripe for the day....

It would take a lot less time to warm up if you didn't live in the great white north.

It usually take me about 2 to 3 hours to fully warm up to operating levels in the mornings, usually helped by the first 3 coffees.

Uh, in the '50s and '60s when they used tubes, they DID...

(We had a Muntz b/w until I was a teenager.)
