Microphone + mobile phone?

I want to record myself acting, in the house room, with Sony Xperia Z3. I need it for youtube.
For microphone I will choose something like: Rode Videomic or maybe Rode videomic pro.

1. Can those microphones work together with my Xperia Z3?
2. Do I need any extra devices inbetween to record audio, like Zoom H1?

Camera and microphone will always stay in place when I record and I will never be more then 1.5meters away.

I just bought a bm8000 on amazon that came with a phantom power box pretty cheap. Maybe thats ideal? Sound is good till you are close. Closer makes it sound as if you have reverb on.(gain being too high) hope that helps!
