Too often, people buy microphones without actually hearing them beforehand and hope for the best. Are there any websites that, holding all else constant, provide audio clip comparisons of microphones?

That's one of the best comparison pages I've listened to. The right length clips, with care obviously taken to get the performances as close as possible to identical. And boy does it show off how nice an MK-012 sounds on acoustic guitar compared to a C1. The 012 sounds great through the M1, BTW.
