hey,
my band and i built some mp3 available at www.myspace.com/theshamelessfellows (the song is not seen with the same eyes) for the guitar i recorded directly from the guitar out to the line in of my soundcard, then routed the guitars through amplitube live (line out, in to amplitube, line out, line in to power record). I will do the same for the whole album, but will root the line out to an amp and the record with mic. Is there something wrong with this kind of stuff i should know? do i lose some signal because it's computer to amp and not guitar to amp? is there something i should put between the guitar and computer while recording?
why i do so is cuz i will ask my friends amp, and don't want to keep it for 3 weeks...
