blue icicle vs audio interface

which one do you guys think is better. ?
Do you think the blue icicle can get the same quality a person would if they used an interface.

Audio interface with a quality mic is always better than an internal soundcard and USB mic. An interface with a crappy mic is even better than an internal soundcard. Even $100 Soundblaster cards are not good for recording. Trust me, been there.

Stay away from usb mics. They are mostly for podcasters anyway.

Too many limitations.

Always get an interface and standard mics.

I think Jimmy is hinting at the Tascam us-800. You get a ton of bang for buck on this one! You can get one for $100 on MusiciansFriend today...comes with 6 xlr inputs! That'd be handy just in case you ever expand
