Hi there,
If you need an affordable and relatively inexpencieve mic you could look at his one
Audio Technica AT2020
the more advanced model
Audio Technica AT4040
and the even more advanced for those who are on the budget
Audio Technica AT4050
Cheerz!
Okay, here's my advice (and you should take it because you will get many, many other opinions and they will be different, and wrong) is to get a pair if sdc's (Oktava Mk012) and a nice dynamic (SM7 or Senny 421), and a nice LDC- AT 4040 , (or as high as you can get in the numbers), Rode Nt2A ( or one of their tubers, which are a little bright but extremely usable)
Studio Projects T3, and a nice ribbon, preferably a Beyer, until you can afford a really nice one.
I'm a recording noob, but I've been playing the guitar and been singing for a long time.
If someone asked me for the best affordable guitar, I'd recommend either a strat or a les paul.
Best mic, shure sm58.
Instead of saying "only you can decide..."
If that was so, there wouldn't be a point to these forums, don't you think?
