AKG genuine CK12 Brass capsule: building DIY mic with a single Jfet-transistor

I have got discovered vintage AKG CK12 Brass capsule at home.

I would like to build a mic with this capsule and use a standard one-transistor Jfet circuit of ECM electret mics (common source either
source follower)...

Has anyone ever tried to wire such a large capsule with a single Jfet transistor ? Do you think this might work as a decent condenser mic ??

Thank you for the comments!

Thanks! Actually I have posted this theme at several mic-related forums, some seem to be more active, and some not that much!
Anyway, I will public the results when the mic is completed!

If you're still at an impasse:

try groupdiy.com

How much do you want to do - make your own body and head basket? What is your budget?

Here is a JFET microphone:

Look for the U87 Front End Mod around here, which uses the MXL 2001. You can also take one of those, and upgrade a few parts and get a transformer from aamicrophones.com and swap out the capsule
