AKG c3000b and shock mounts

Hello, I just purchased a c3000b mic off ebay for $100 and i now need a shock mount. I found that on the big music sites that i need the $89.00 h 100 shock mount for this mic.....

Is there a cheaper shock mount that anyone knows of that will work with this mic?? I can't see paying nearly 100 bucks for a shock mount. Am i screwed or what? haha. :-)

Threading the shock mount

Sorry to take this post in a new direction but not sure how to do something.

I have a c3000b with a shock mount that came with it that has come apart. I mean the threading of the shock mount has detached and I'm not sure how to get it threaded back together. Any suggestions?
 
Best to start a new thread with a relevant title, but no matter. We're here now. :)

Has something physically broken or has the elastic just come out of place?
If the latter, you should be able to refit it referencing pictures online if necessary.
