    I am recording on a kawai k-5 acoustic piano and was wondering which pair of mics I should get. I also will be recording a taylor 615 and vocals. Thank you for any help

    Wow... I've used a 414 but haven't used a Woodpecker. Still.....


    One is a bright-ish condenser and the other is a ribbon, which are known for mellower highs and fuller mids and lows. I would assume they sound quite different, and as is always the case it'd be best to test them with your own instruments in your own space to determine what sounds better.
