Okay, new to this forum and the query I have is not specifically keyboard-related, though I am recording a keyboard. I've posted on another forum about this so will just copy the same post here. If any of you can shed some light on this problem, I'd be most gateful!
Right, this is doing my head in. I have a new external usb soundcard for recording purposes. Everything works as it should, I can hear playback and record at the same time. Great. But each and every f***ing time I do record, I get distortion/interference on the recorded track after about 17 seconds that lasts for about 3 seconds. This repeats every 17 or so seconds. I've used three different recording programs and the same thing happens. Anyone got any idea what might be causing it?
