Anyone else not get why many keyboards even today you can only save to an SD card? wtf, this isn't a camera. Shouldn't they all be USB flash drives? What advantage does SD have? Cheaper to implement?

The only thing I can think of is possibly faster read/write speeds for recording/play audio with an SD card versus a USB stick. Most portable recorders (Zoom, Tascam, etc) use SD cards. If your computer doesn't have an SD card slot, card readers are cheap.
