giga sampler or real sampler?

hi. i run cakewalk pro audio 9, with an Alesis QS7. and i want real live sounds. i'm thinking of the bob clearmountain discs and a giga sampler. because then i can get other cd's in AKAI format, and use them with the software. or do you guys like to use a real sampler?

any comments will be much appreciated.
