recently bought one of these off ebay, it only seems to plays single notes, does anyone know how to get it to play more than one key? i.e. full chords

cheers for that, probably just being a dumb ass here, but i still can't see how to change it to full chord mode :o anyone?
 
Hold the red 'C' button while turning on the power. This resets the machine to factory defaults. The 'solo' button put it into mono mode as does setting it for multi-timbral Midi mode. Check the section of the manual that deals with that.

If you get bored with that synth and decide to sell it please let me know. The 230 was the first synthesizer I owned and it would be cool to have it again someday.
