Assistance Needed Urgently!!!!!!!! Silence?

Hello everyone,

My Motif ES will not play a single note.

Nothing drastic happened to it. I was trying to figure out how to sync to Pro Tools M-Powered 6.8; I changed a few things in Utilities on the ES, and when I went to play it the sound went off.

I tried to put everything in Utilities back the way I had it. I double checked the volume and audio outputs. All were fine. I shutdown my computer and did the same checks. Still no sound. Your help is extremely appreciated. Thanks

I also have a Motif ES.

First thing that came to mind was: FACTORY SETTINGS, page 44 of my ES61 manual.

This will reset your keyboard to ALL the settings it had as it came from the factory.

Try that. If no success, best to call Yamaha or go to the Yam Motif site and post your problem.
