Advice for recording from a very old Yamaha PF10 keyboard (should be a simple one!)

Hi there!

I've already been the beneficiary of some kind advice over in the microphone forum which has got me set up on that front! I'm now the proud owner of a Behringer UM2 audio interface; I also have a very old Yamaha PF10 electric piano from the 80s; my question is, if I hook the two together with a 1/4 inch jack lead, would the UM2 record the keyboard or would some other equipment be required? I'm not after doing anything complicated, just some short snippets of music for a video so it doesn't need any mixing after or that caper. If it's just the jack lead I'll nab one off Prime, but of course if there's anything else required then I want to get it all at once.

All replies much appreciated!

A jack to jack lead should work just fine. Plug into PF10's output and into line input on UM2. No other gear is needed.
