Hi. This is a question for and hardcore guitar techs on the board. I've got this les paul knock-off with 2 covered humbuckers in it and when I crank it up with distortion, it lets out this bizarre sounding feedback when I stop playing. The feedback is more hollow sounding, if that makes sence. Last summer I met this guy in Ashland Kentucky who told me about dipping pickups in wax to stop this kind of feedback. Has anyone heard of this technique or knows how I can stop this feedback? Thanks.
