Tighten tuners ?

Hey guy's, just decided to clean the gibson sg up and put on new strings. I noticed that the tuners seem really loose (not where it screws onto the neck)but the guts. Is this normal or to I need to remove them and tighten up the inside? Does this thread make sence?
 
Most tuners feel loose when there's no tension on them. The guts of most tuners are not meant to be accessed. I'd just let it be, unless you're having tuning problems.-Richie
