Is anyone here tried a Laney amp before, or does anyone use one? I traded my piss poor peavey classic 50 the other nite for a Laney vc50 tube amp, "even steven" talk about sound man this amp is a monster anyway thats my stroke of good luck!!
I have a Laney HC50 that I have found to be very versitile. I was pretty impressed by the "crunch" knob..at first I thought I would just get total drive, but it is rather sensitive. I still like the twin reverb better.
Yo Daltune the HC50 is solidstate, the VC50 is all tube 5881 valves, I had a twin one time had to get rid of it, and nothing out there ever came close to the fender as for as CLEAN sounds, but this baby is very close, if not even better, been shopping for a marshall, tried the dsl 100, it sounded pretty damm good, but not any where in the ballpark with this amp, my search is over; I hope!
