String Gauge Suggestions

So I've been thinking today, instead of selling my Dan Armstrong to buy two guitars (one for C and one for E,Eb and drop D) I could just find a gauge of string in between heavy for C and light for E. For this I have in mind a set of strings that go .10-.50, does anyone have any experience with this gauge of string in both C and E and can suggest a set?

I'm a D'addario man myself. .10-.46 (EXL110 regular light) is a good start for dropped d, e flat standard, and e tunings. You didn't specify if you will be tuning the C tuned guitar to C standard or dropped C. If going dropped C a gauge going from .10-.50 might work but I would personally go for an .11-52 (EXL140 light top/ heavy bottom). If you are going for C standard I think you might find .10 gauge sets too light. I would personally go with .12-.54 (EXL145 heavy plain 3rd). It's all subjective though.
