I just acquired this ovation guitar its older 79 Legend ac/elec. two jacks for this one is working..the mono jack is not..any ideas? all seems to be wired ok and good batt" am I doing something wrong?
 
one is for Mono and the other is stereo..I`ve never had something like this before I`m reading up on it now and asking questions..stereo input works mono..nope! lol
 
Unless that Ovation has 2 separate internal pickups, then both 'channel's should sound the same.. If one jack is not working, chances are the wire has come off one of the contacts, so if can't open it up to access it, just get a stereo-to-mono-adapter to use with the stereo jack.
