Making a bass cab

I'm making a bass cab with my friend. He has an ampeg 8x10 and it's massive. He needs something with portability in mind, so we might build a 2x10 bass cab. I'm thinking about using these drivers

in an angled cab. My friend is into playing Jaco/Victor Wooten/Marcus Miller type stuff. Anyone know how good these drivers are? Would I need a crossover for this? I'm curious as to how I would go about making one if it needed one, since the dual cones only have one set of terminals (which makes me think I probably don't need one).

They will be powered by a QSC RMX 850 power amp, with a signal fed by a Demeter Tube preamp, a TC electronic G Major, and an Aphex aural exciter with big bottom.

I made a 2-10 with a horn and cross over for bi-amping with a 15" Or by itself on smaller gigs and used Carvins horn, cross over and 10's wich I am pretty happy with.

I have not heard the Eminence ones but I would recomend Avatar if I had to do it over again.

I have read nothing but GREAT reviews and it is an amazing value! The whole cab ready to go with warranty would be the same price as your two speakers alone!
