I had a few problems with it the last couple of days, intonation, bridge setting (never had a hollow body before) but I think I've pretty well got it set up properly. It plays really well, the sound is a nice colour on my palette, and it is aesthetically pleasing. I did play a couple of other Artcores, but they felt cheap. This one doesn't. At all.

As of Saturday, 8. This is she, name of 'Bel.' Really beautiful guitar. Will probably replace my Strat as my main electric axe.

Oh my...Bel IS beautiful!!!!

I bet she has a sweet tone too!

Very nice. I have .012s on it, with a wound G string, and it sounds truly sweet!

:)

I've had a bit of a struggle getting it set up right, though. Went back to the shop today, tech did some things with it, and it is possible that I may have to put new tuners on it.

I think I may just become a hollow/semi acoustic junkie. I enjoy playing this so much. I am thinking of getting a really nice all wood jazzbox, and a couple of others, such as the Artcore AS103 and an Epi Casino.

After the divorce, I could then get a few more.....

:D

I don't think I will be able to get married again, in order to get divorced ....I'd hock my wedding dress, cash in the honeymoon and head to the music shop...

This is the new baby....Hagstrom Swede ...the Goldtop was the only choice....I prefer the red!!!

I had a really hard time deciding on guitars...this one took me fancy too...the black gal without the whammy....F200

But ...this was a beautiful guitar..with tremolo....F200P ...the pick guard on it is even prettier in person.

The Swede won out, because of tone. It is rich and warm and full bodied sounding. I don't own any guitars with that tone....now I do....of course, if I could afford it, I would have left with all three of them.

Ahhhhhh...there is something to say about the bliss of non-chastisement or that frantic finding of a hiding place for new gear!! But I sorta miss that rush...and it does get a little cold at night!! :D

12 guitars....here's 3 of them!

The Acoustic I care about: Washburn Golden Harvest
The Acoustic I don't: Alavarez throw-away
The Electric : Jay Turser (a nice tone, even if it is a POS)
The Bass: Fernandez P-bass-alike (is Fernandez even a going concern these days?)

Unfortunately, Bel was not a keeper. Long story, but the last time I took her in to the shop (with a recording of a nasty rattle and buzzing) I was offered the opportunity to exchange Bel for another guitar.

This is what I bought instead: An Artcore AS103 NT. No major problems so far. Touch like soft butter, more of a blues/rocknroll geetar, which is more 'me' than a jazzbox.

Although, I can't promise not to get another of those in the future.... ;)
