Godin Multiac (or other synth access guitars)

Oldbie
Anybody play a Godin synth access guitar ?
I've dusted off my GR-50 synth, and it pains me to stick the GK2 pickup to my tele again (there's another thread... how do you get double sided tape off...). So I need a better solution.
Looking for opinions on playability, tracking, compatibility problems with the GR-50, or anything about other guitars that have built in synth access to the Roland gear. (The only one I'm familiar with is the Godin stuff)
Cheers,
mike

I don't know about tracking or compatability, but I played a Godin nylon string Multiac through a small acoustic amp for about an hour one day, and it was a very, very nice guitar--about $1,100, and I'd say worth it.

Thanx. Guess I've just got to get out and try one - will be parting with a '53 ES125 shortly, so funds should permit me to consider it as an option (hopefully).

the godins use rmc piezo midi pick ups. You could buy these and install them into your tele's bridge if you wanted and it wouldnt damage the pretty paintjob.

the best guitar option for midi is not a guitar but a guitar shaped controller such as the z tar

this way youll have no glitches and can use good modules withm no discernable latency.
