Fender Jazz buzzing

Lost Cause
My new (1 month old) Fender Jazz has just started emmitting an electrical buzz, which gets worse when the treble cut is fully open (i.e. max treble) and when I touch the strings. I could take it back but that's rather a hassle and as I can use a soldering iron I wondered if there is an abvious cause / solution? I'm guessing it's an earth problem but am not terribly knowledgeable about guitar electrics. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Looks like you have a bad grounding somewhere.
Go check if all the ground wires are OK (none broken or bad soldered) and we'll see later.
Good luck,

Yeah, that's what I thought. Had a good look and poke around under the plate and couldn't find anything looking dodgy. Think I need to get a pro to look at it. Planned to start recording tomorrow evening :(
